The Sensei of Dentou Karate
Herman Aquino, Renshi, holds a 6th Dan rank in Shido-kan Shorinryu. He is certified by the esteemed Okinawa Shorinryu Karatedo Kyokai in Okinawa, Japan, the same organization that granted him the authority to teach and promote karate.
The Okinawa Shorinryu Karatedo Kyokai was established by Chosin Chibana sensei. Leadership subsequently passed to Katsuya Miyahira sensei, a disciple of Chibana and founder of the Shido-kan branch of Shorinryu. Following Miyahira sensei, leadership was held by Takeshi Miyagi sensei and is currently under Maeshiro Morinobu sensei, both students of Miyahira sensei.
